Mud painting

Mix mud with water to make paint in every shade of brown, then paint trees, tarps and each other's hands.

How it goes

1. Collect mud from different spots and compare the colours.
2. Mix each with water in pots until it's like thick paint.
3. Paint with fingers, sticks or natural brushes on card, a tarp or a tree trunk.
4. Add chalk or charcoal from the fire for white and black.
5. Leave the tree paintings for the rain to wash away.
