Seed bombs
Roll clay, compost and wildflower seeds into balls, let them dry, and throw them onto bare ground for a burst of flowers next summer.
How it goes
- Mix compost and clay powder with a little water until it holds together.
- Add a pinch of native wildflower seeds and mix through.
- Roll into balls the size of a large marble.
- Leave them to dry on a tray, then throw them onto bare ground the landowner has agreed to.
- Mark the spot and go back in summer to see what grew.
