The mud kitchen goes competitive: menus, mud pies with foraged 'sprinkles', and a judging panel with strong opinions about presentation.

How it goes

  1. Open the kitchen: pots, pans, spoons, water source, mud supply.
  2. Set the brief: one showstopper bake per team, menu card required (mark-making!).
  3. Bake — leaders circulate as demanding customers.
  4. Judging: looks, imagination, and the all-important menu reading.
  5. Wash-up crew rotates. That's part of the game.
