Plan sessions
“Plan next Tuesday around den building, and add bow saws to the kit.”
“Add a taster on 14 November at Oak Wood, 10 till 12.”
Claude and ChatGPT
Connect the Forest School App to Claude or ChatGPT and ask in your own words: who's booked on Saturday, what's in Thursday's plan, write up what Mia did at the fire. It's done in your Forest School App, as you.

Shall I send the Hart and Finch families a link to pay?
How it works
In Claude, add a custom connector. In ChatGPT, add a custom MCP server. Paste forestschool.app/mcp.
Sign in to the Forest School App. You'll see which forest school it's for and what it will be able to do.
Then ask. It answers from your records, and anything you change shows on the website and in the field app.
What it can't do
Whatever your role, owner and safeguarding lead included. They stay on the website, for the people who should see them.
Claude or ChatGPT can do what your role can do on the website, in the forest school you connected, and nothing more. A volunteer's connection can read the session plan and the risk assessments. Bookings and money are for whoever sees them on the website. Each person on your team connects their own, with their own role.
A photo added from a chat goes through the same consent check as one taken in the wood. A photo of a child without photo consent is kept for your own records and never shared with a family.
Ask it who still owes and it can send the family a link to pay, by email, or give you the link to send however you like. It can note a payment made in cash or by bank transfer. Card payments and refunds stay on the website. See forest school booking software for how bookings and payments work.
Questions
The records it needs for your question are sent to Claude or ChatGPT under your own account with them, for example a child's name or a session plan. What happens to your conversations there is set by that company's privacy policy and your own settings. Our privacy policy has the detail.
Go to Me → Connected apps and choose Disconnect. It stops at its next request. An owner can disconnect anyone on the team, or turn AI apps off for the whole forest school, under Staff & helpers.
Claude: any plan that can add a custom connector, on the website, the desktop app or the phone app. On Team or Enterprise, an owner of your Claude organisation adds it first. ChatGPT: it depends on your plan. On some, ChatGPT can read your records but not make changes, and on a work or school workspace an admin may need to add it first.
