Woodland wands and potions

Halloween the forest-school way: whittle-free wand decorating, then a potion station of mud, petals and 'eye of newt' (acorns) with incantations mandatory.
How it goes
- Each child picks a wand stick; decorate with wool wrap, elder 'gems' and a name.
- Open the potion station: pots, spoons, rainwater, mud, leaves, 'spooky' ingredients.
- Potions must have a name, three ingredients and a spell — perform them at the cauldron circle.
- Best delivered at dusk with lanterns if your session times allow.
