What forest school is
Forest school is regular, long-term time in woodland, led by a qualified forest school leader, where children choose and lead their own play and learning, with real tools, fire and risk-benefit thinking. Most forest schools run term-time groups; many add toddler sessions, home education groups and holiday clubs. What is forest school? explains more.
