Cancelling a session keeps it on the record and cancels its places; money comes back from Payments, one session at a time if you like
Weather, a holiday, low numbers. Cancel a date and it stays on the diary marked cancelled, its booked places go with it, and nothing is quietly lost. Money is a separate, deliberate step: refund a whole order or exactly one session's worth from Payments, and the family is emailed. Every payment has a link to the same payment in your Stripe dashboard.
